Wayne Havrelly

Anchor/Consumer Investigator

Wayne Havrelly Wayne Havrelly joined KIRO 7 Eyewitness News in June 2001. He anchors the weekend newscasts for KIRO 7 Eyewitness News and during the week investigates stories of consumer fraud.

Wayne's been chasing after stories in TV news for more than 20 years. A Western Washington native, he returned to the Northwest in 2001 after working for eight years at television stations in Orlando, Florida. Before that, Wayne worked as an anchor and reporter in Spokane, Wash.

Wayne's investigative reporting has helped put con artists behind bars, led to changes in the law, and has recovered millions of dollars for viewers who were ripped off by scams. Wayne has also reported live from almost every natural disaster imaginable. He’s been in the middle of “major” hurricanes, wildfires and some of the deadliest tornados in U.S. history.

Wayne's standards of excellence are proven in that he has won several Emmy awards for his broadcast journalism.

Wayne is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.
