Greg Inglin joined KIRO 7 Eyewitness News in June 2000 as the weekend sports anchor. Greg can be seen on Saturday and Sunday night newscasts at 5:00, 6:00, and 11:00 p.m.A native of Washington State, Greg was raised in Buckley. He is the youngest of six kids and grew up working on his parents' dairy farm, which his family still owns and operates.Greg's sports reporting experience includes coverage of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, and the Mariners/Yankees American League Championship Series in New York.After graduating from Washington State University, Greg began his career in television news in Yakima, Washington. His next stop was Hong Kong, where he worked for Wharf Cable News, a partner of CNN International. After returning to the States, he moved on to KFOX-TV in El Paso, Texas as weekend sports anchor. From Texas, it was back to Seattle as a sports reporter for KOMO-TV before joining KIRO 7.Greg has been awarded an Associated Press award for his sports reporting and has been nominated for two Emmys.He enjoys running, fly-fishing, skiing, reading, and spending time with his eight nieces and nephews. Greg lives in Seattle.
