The Great Trails of Washington

Great Trails Of Washington

We live in a charmed land, a land of elegance and grace. From velvety green rainforests to rugged alpine ridges, western Washington offers a plethora of breathtaking images in diverse settings.

There are literally a thousand challenging hikes around the state. To determine what hikes experts consider to be the best, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News conducted an informal survey with various hiking clubs and backpacking aficionados. Then our crew traveled 110 miles up steep cliffs with cameras in hand to bring the best trails western Washington has to offer.
