A native of the Seattle area, Jeff joined KIRO 7 Eyewitness News in 2004 and has been waking up early to bring you the latest news from overnight, ever since.

After graduating from Washington State University, Jeff began his broadcasting career in Medford, Oregon. Two years there and he moved on to Spokane, Washington, where he spent nearly five years, reporting and anchoring for NBC affiliate, KHQ-TV. But his family, and the beauty of the Puget Sound area, kept drawing him back home. In 2004, Jeff and his wife moved back to Bellevue, where he grew up.

Over the last several years, Jeff has been nominated for several Emmy awards and has covered some of the Northwest's biggest stories. He was there when serial killer Robert Yates received the death penalty in a Pierce County Courtroom. He’s been knee-deep in floodwaters for KIRO 7’s Stormwatch coverage, and has chased wildfires across the state. Jeff has also interviewed big newsmakers like John McCain, John Kerry, and Al Gore during their campaign stops in Washington State.

When he's not bringing you the morning news, Jeff is usually hanging out with his young daughter, Emerson, and enjoying time with his wife. Or you may spot him in the garden, on the golf course, or at a Mariners or Seahawks game! Jeff is also a local musician and enjoys singing whenever he gets the chance.
