Margo Myers

News Anchor, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News

Margo Myers joined KIRO 7 Eyewitness News in January 2005 and co-anchors KIRO 7 Eyewitness News at 5 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 11 p.m.

Margo came to KIRO Television from KOMO Television in Seattle where she anchored the morning newscasts from 1997 to 2004. She joined KOMO in 1993 as a weekday reporter and weekend evening anchor.

Before returning to her home state of Washington, Margo worked in several California television markets as an anchor, reporter and producer.

Margo is an active member of the Western Washington community, devoting her time to volunteering and supporting many local charities that focus on the homeless, at-risk teenagers and women’s health. She’s also a former board member with the Family and Adult Service Center, a downtown Seattle homeless shelter.

Margo was raised in Ephrata in eastern Washington and graduated from Washington State University with honors.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and boating the waters of Puget Sound and Lake Washington.
