Here are the things that may have slowed you down Tuesday morning:

Alert: The KIRO 7 traffic department watched snow fall on the DOT cameras through Downtown Seattle starting at 6:50am. It then started falling through the DOT cameras up north on I-5 and on I-405. We watched closely to see if the snow started to stick to the roads but it looks like the volume of traffic is keeping the roads warm enough it's not sticking.

Chopper 7 was above the scene and saw traffic back up almost to 520. Trooper Cliff Pratt warned to watch out for ice in the Bellevue area. WSDOT sent out crews to de-ice. MORE INFORMATION ON THE ACCIDENT: Trooper Pratt said a trooper was already at the scene responding to an accident when a County Officer driving past lost control on an icy patch and skid into the guard barrier. The female officer was been taken to hospital with facial lacerations. Troopers were at the scene investigating for almost 2 hours.
