Continue to get alerts after you leave your house.520 Bridge: Starting Friday, you may see and hear some noise tests going on near the 520 bridge. A large barge will be used to install nine steel test pilings in this area.The idea is to figure out ways to reduce noise when they start driving the real pilings for the new 520 bridge. The work will last about 25 days, and take place only during daylight hours.Overnight Construction: I-405 through Renton, I-5 through Northgate, I-5 at I-90 ramps should be wrapped up by 5am.Weekend Construction:
Battery Street Tunnel: Crews will close the Alaskan Way Viaduct on Oct. 24-25 for its annual inspection. The viaduct will be closed in both directions between Spokane Street through the Battery Street Tunnel.Weekend Events:Saturday
