Hogan's Blog: Monday Morning Commute

Good Monday morning! We hope you all enjoyed your weekend. It’s time to gear up for the work week and we’re here for you to get there as quickly and safely as possible. We will let you know if anything pops up.

Here are the things that may have slowed you down Monday morning:

SR 520 westbound just west of NE 51st St collision blocking left lane via WSDOT. TIME: 6:26am UPDATE: DOT Cameras are showing us that all lanes are now blocked on SR 520 at 51st St. due to earlier collision. TIME: 6:36am UPDATE: Redmond SR 520 at 51st Chopper 7 just showed to move to the right lane to get off. Other lanes stopped. Get on 148th after incident.TIME: 6:53am UPDATE: Redmond SR 520 at Ne 51st St. two left lanes are now open due to earlier collision. Current backup is two miles via wsdot. TIME: 7:19am

All lanes closed SR527 in both directions between 116th Street SE and 121st Street SE due to a restaurant fire off the highway. TIME: 5:56am

Everett: We are seeing the road closed on the SR 527 at 121st St SE camera. KIRO's Rick Price is heading out that way to a structure fire. TIME: 5:24am

SR 520 to southbound I-405 crews will close the ramp this morning through Friday, Nov. 13. The lanes will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m each day while they install a series of electronic lane status and speed limit signs via WSDOT.

Crash Check List: We’ve been working closely with WSP to come up with a check list of things you need to do if you get into an accident on the freeway. Go to this link to print it out and keep it in your car.

Overnight construction: I-5 southbound through Northgate, I-405 through Renton. It should all be wrapped up around 5am.
