Driver Of Stolen Truck Injures Woman, Child

SEATTLE -- A woman driving a stolen pickup truck collided with a car in south Seattle injuring a woman and a 3-year-old boy, police said.
Spokesman Sean Whitcomb said the boy has a serious head injury. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center. The crash happened at about 9 a.m. after a motorcycle officer had pulled over the pickup truck for a traffic stop. The officer was writing a ticket when the pickup truck sped off.The officer followed and came upon the accident about 20 blocks away at Martin Luther King Junior Way South and Bradford Street.
