Deadly Pileup Kills 8 in China
A 14-vehicle pileup in China's northwest kills at least eight and injures 28 others. Seven of the injured were said to be in a critical condition. The accident is believed to have happened when a coal truck's brakes failed and the vehicle slammed into oncoming traffic and pedestrians before crashing into a road sign. 30 firefighters worked at the deadly crash scene until late Tuesday evening.
