One Dead in 28-Car Pile Up on Greek Highway

At least one person is dead and 22 others injured after two road crashes in northern Greece involving a combined total of 28 vehicles. The two accidents happened a few hundred metres apart on a highway close to the town of Alexandria. Local police said one woman was killed, and two of those injured were in serious condition. The rest - including two children - suffered minor injuries. One pregnant woman who was also involved in the crash was taken to hospital.
