A team with the National Weather Service has determined that a funnel cloud caught on camera Sunday was an actual tornado that touched down.

Carl Cerniglia with the NWS confirmed to KIRO 7's Chris Legeros that the tornado hit the Enumclaw area.

When the storm first hit at about 7 p.m., it took out power to about 1,300 customers in the Enumclaw area, said Puget Sound Energy.

Tyson Gamblin posted this video on YouTube of a fierce storm cell passing through Enumclaw. He said he had to mute the audio because his wife was screaming.

Alan Gamblin of Enumclaw told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News he saw the storm come in.

"Everything was coming this way and then all of a sudden, a minute later, it came around the house the opposite way," Gamblin said. "And so it picked up a lot of lawn furniture and took it down over the fence, and we lost a couple trees out here."

Near Buckley, the storm dropped a shed on top of a tractor. Also underneath it, a vintage GMC pickup truck and gas pump.

Part of a barn nearby also collapsed in the vicious winds.
