OLYMPIA, Wash. -- KIRO 7 Eyewitness News has learned that the Olympia police department has arrested a man and woman in connection with a car prowl ring that may have involved more than 70 vehicles and large amounts of stolen property.Police said the thieves’ primary targets were Ford F250 and F350 pickup trucks and Lincoln Navigator SUVs.Detectives said Wednesday night their investigation led them to Lakewood in Pierce County where they arrested the couple and seized what was described by Olympia police Commander Tor Bjornstad as a massive amount of stolen property.Police said they will likely set up a Web site with information about the missing items so that victims might be able to claim their stolen belongings.Police said owners of Ford F250 or F350s, Ford Excursions or Lincoln Navigators, who have had their vehicles broken into and property stolen, should contact the Olympia police department with a name, contact number, the date of the theft and a list of specific items stolen. Detectives will compare information with stolen property recovered in the case and contact victims if the items match.Olympia police detectives can be reached via email at
