A woman was found dead in hear home's yard near Panther Lake Wednesday night, said Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies arrested 33-year-old Amber Jodene Debord for investigation of killing 36-year-old Michele Lee Burton, said the Kitsap County Coroner's office.

Court documents obtained by KIRO 7 Eyewitness News say the incident happened after Burton and her boyfriend met the suspect. Amber Debord. at the Bethel Saloon in Port Orchard Wednesday night.

VIDEO: Sexual Liaison Leads To Bloody, Violent Killing

Debord told investigators she was hoping to have a lesbian relationship with Burton. While at the saloon, after a few drinks and conversation, the two women went into the bathroom and locked the door for 30 minutes, according to prosecutors.

Later, the women and Burton’s boyfriend left the saloon and went to Burton's house on Panther Lake, said investigators.

Court documents said that while at the house, Burton's boyfriend found the two women naked and kissing in bed. Debord reportedly got violent and threatened the victim’s boyfriend, who then left the residence.

Sheriff’s deputies said they received a 911 call from a hysterical woman who said someone was dead. Deputies arrived at the scene to find Burton’s partially-nude body outside near Panther Lake's shore. Court documents said Burton's body was covered in blood, had numerous stab wounds to the neck, defensive wounds to the hands and feet and clumps of hair were in her clenched fists, consistent with a violent homicide.

"Evidence on scene indicates there was a violent attack involving the two women," said Deputy Scott Wilson of the Kitsap County Sheriff's Department.

Police questioned Debord, who was covered in blood, and arrested her for investigation of second-degree murder.

Police said clumps of bloody hair were found throughout Burton's house and yard as well as a bloody scene inside.

Investigators said that Debord had injuries on her body consistent with being in an extended, violent fight.

Debord’s ex-husband, Timothy Debord, told KIRO 7 that Debord had been violent, especially when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Debord is being held in the Kitsap County Jail with a bail of $500,000.
