ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Two people were taken into custody Tuesday night after a crash that involved a Washington State Patrol trooper in Issaquah.
Police said Snoqualmie police and troopers were trying to stop a driver suspected of driving under the influence.
According to police, the driver started traveling the wrong way on Gilman Boulevard and officers terminated the pursuit.
Investigators said the suspect’s car crashed into a trooper’s patrol vehicle head-on.

Two suspects were taken into custody.
Investigators said the trooper and the car’s passenger had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
According to troopers, the car involved in the crash was stolen.
