Officials said the truck had a brake failure when driving north on Waller Road. When the truck got to Pioneer Way, a steep hill, it rolled through the intersection and into the parking lot of a furniture warehouse.

The driver tried to avoid the building but the truck rolled and hit the building, police said.

The 45-year-old driver was killed in the crash.

Tow trucks began trying to get the semi truck out of the parking lot in the afternoon.

There were no other injuries.
